    NZ Holiday

Post by godoubleblues on Mon Oct 05, 2009 9:18 am

just got back from 2 weeks in NZ, had a fantastic time, it is the most beautiful country
we did about 6 days on the South Island self driving in a hire car and staying in motels then did 7 days on the North Island self driving in a campervan then finished off with a couple of days in Auckland
no where near enough time, unfortunately we didnt get down to the south of the south island so we missed out on Queenstown and Milford Sound and we didnt have enough time for Bay of Islands at the top of the North Island
but that is OK as it means we will have to go back Cool

I love Christchurch, but have to confess I am biased, since I live here! Spent 10 years living in South Canterbury in beautiful Geraldine, but love being back here. Always happy to see visitors enjoying their time in Christchurch and the South Island!!
